There are few alcohol free toners available in the Indian market. After trying the Fabindia Tea Tree Face Wash, I was so delighted that I immediately bought this toner to complete my daily skin care regimen. As you know, cleansing, toning and moisturizing are a must for healthy, glowing skin. There are numerous benefits of tea tree oil and it is widely used in skincare products. According to Wikipedia:”Tea tree oil, or melaleuca oil, is a pale yellow color to nearly colorless and clear essential oil with a fresh camphoraceous odor.” This oil is one of the main ingredients of this toner which is why it has been named so. Now let’s get into more details about the Fabindia Tea Tree Skin Toner.

My Experience with the product:
The toner on application does not sting my skin at all. In fact, it gives a cooling sensation. It soothes my skin. I have a feeling that it would suit sensitive skin as well. I use it as directed after pouring out some on a cotton ball. Most of the toners that I have used in the past were meant for oily skin but they badly stung my skin. This one is really gentle on the skin which is one of the positive things about it. It controls oil effectively for few hours at a stretch. It has really controlled my acne and ever since I am using this I did not get any new pimples. Touch wood! It keeps the pores reduced and tight which is what a toner should ideally do. The fragrance is a combination of tea tree oil and neem which I find quite soothing. The packaging is impressive with a flip open cap and a see-through bottle. The texture is just like water except that it comes out as a very light greenish liquid. It contains salicylic acid which is a known acne-fighting ingredient. In fact, those with acne-prone skin should always look for products that contain this ingredient. I have noticed a reduction in my blemishes too. This toner is inexpensive considering its effectiveness and quantity. This has become my HG product now and I am going to repurchase it again and again.
