Himalaya has achieved new heights of excellence by launching its impressive range of skin and hair care products which contain 100% herbal actives. You would find tons of brands in the market, even those selling herbal products, but how herbal they are is a big question. Therefore, if you are on the lookout for genuine herbal products, you can trust Himalaya since it is a reputed company which has made its presence felt all over the globe since its inception in 1930.
Today’s review focuses on the Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream which is quite decently priced and therefore within the common man’s reach. In fact all of the brand’s products seem to be priced in such a way that they combine both quality as well as affordability.

My Experience with the Product:
Although I have oily skin, by the time winter approaches it tends to get dry and flakes appear. Therefore I checked out Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream since it is completely herbal and the product mentions that it is suitable for all types of skin. If a good moisturizing cream is what you are on the hunt for, then I would definitely recommend this one since it is extremely effective as a moisturizer. The cream is non-greasy as mentioned in the product claim, but unlike what the brand mentions about it being light, I would say that the texture of the cream is heavy and thick. However, it gets easily soaked into the skin on application. No pimples or rashes appeared on my skin after daily use of the cream; therefore the claim that it is suitable for all skin types is true in my opinion. The smell is extremely refreshing and mild and lingers on the skin for quite some time after application. The cream nourishes and hydrates my skin intensively and it is the perfect choice for winter.
Pros of Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream:
1. Suitable for all skin types
2. Dermatologically tested
3. No harmful chemicals
4. Intense moisturizing effect
Cons of Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream:
1. No SPF (Sun Protection Factor); therefore cannot be applied when stepping out into the sun; need to apply sunscreen on top
2. Not advertised so people hardly know about it
3. Mild sweat may appear on skin after application
The only addition that Himalaya could have made to the product was adding SPF to it so that it could be applied outdoors as well. Nonetheless, if you plan to stay indoors, then this is one of those moisturizing skin creams that you cannot give a miss.
