Who does not love a luxury bath with one’s favorite shower gel? I am sure everyone does. I am no exception and keep trying out different brands of body washes. In fact I prefer shower gels to soaps. I am now going to tell you about the Nivea Lemon and Oil Shower Gel which I have been using over the past month.

My Experience with the Product:
With my penchant for shower gels, the Nivea Lemon & Oil Shower Gel was a must try. It now comes with a free loofah at no extra cost. Most of the days, I use it with the loofah and sometimes on its own. The product comes in a transparent bottle with a blue flip top cap and the gel is of a green color containing suspended yellow oil beads. It lathers richly and smells of lemongrass which I find very relaxing on my senses. It leaves my skin smooth minus any stretchy or dry feeling in the summer months. However, for winters, following up with a moisturizer might be necessary. It allows you to have a pampering bath and provides a luxurious sense due to the immediate burst of freshness it brings to the skin. However, one drawback of this shower gel in my opinion is that the fragrance does not linger on the skin after you have stepped out from your bath. Moreover, I noticed that parabens and SLS are listed in the ingredients; so if you want something minus these ingredients and more natural, you might want to skip this product.

I would try something different next time. But overall it’s a good shower gel from Nivea.
